Lead MLOps Engineer (Korean + Japanese Speaker)

A global technology consulting and digital transformation company headquartered in Europe is seeking a Lead MLOps Engineer to join its Data & AI organization.
The company provides end-to-end services including:
Digital transformation consulting
Cloud & AI solutions
Application development
Enterprise system implementation and operations
Clients span multiple industries such as finance, insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications, and the public sector.
You will work within an international environment collaborating with global engineering teams and enterprise clients.

Role Overview
This position focuses on building and operating scalable machine learning platforms and deploying production-grade ML systems for enterprise clients.
The role includes a 6–12 month overseas project assignment (Korea) followed by a return to Japan.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for ML lifecycle management
Deploy ML models from research to production environments
Build scalable ML infrastructure on cloud platforms
Implement containerized environments using Docker & Kubernetes
Monitor model performance, accuracy, and data drift
Improve automation, reliability, and cost efficiency of ML pipelines
Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers
Lead or mentor engineering team members

Required Skills
7–10 years experience in ML deployment or MLOps
Python programming
Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred)
Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo etc.)

Languages:
Korean (Business level – required)
Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher)
English (Business level)
Preferred Experience
AWS ecosystem experience
Model observability & monitoring tools
ML security and compliance
Feature stores / experiment tracking tools
Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Enterprise data platform integration experience
Soft Skills
Strong stakeholder communication
Ability to explain technical topics clearly
Ownership mindset and automation-driven thinking
Mentoring junior engineers
Cross-functional collaboration

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in:
Computer Science / Software Engineering / Data Engineering or related fields.
